In 2007 Bretton Hall was closed as an educational centre. There were a number of events to celebrate the legacy that it had created of talented teachers in the Arts. Mike Levon, Pete Taylor and Chris Coombs wished to celebrate the long association of Holyground with Bretton, and on 5th May 2007 there was a concert that included many Bretton alumni who had been involved with Holyground. Many of the musicians had not met each other since their college days, and it was an emotional occasion to be rehearsing and playing together once again. The concert was recorded live, and a CD and DVD was released titled 'The Last Goodbye, Musics from Bretton Hall', which immediately sold out.
