We are sad to learn of the death in January of Kevin Slater who appeared on the early folk albums "Last Thing on my Mind" and "Number Nine Bread Street" and other early EPs made at Bretton Hall and Moodie's in Wakefield. Made during the folk boom of the 1960s, Kevin was primarily a "traditional" folk singer who had a wide repertoire and a strong folk voice.
